OUR FACULTY

Teachers are the facilitators in VIS who impart sound and value-based education to the students, the faculty forms the edifice on which the foundation of the Institution rests. They are the guiding stars who are selected after undergoing a stringent selection process where in addition to their qualification their potential to become good teachers is carefully assessed. To attract the best talent the management offers an attractive remuneration package which compares with the best in the country. However, the sense of dedication and commitment of the teachers of VIS goes far beyond.

While other schools bask in the achievements of their bright students, in VIS we are proud that the teachers painstakingly endeavor to carry each student including the not so bright ones along. The school nurtures a supportive learning environment characterized by warmth, friendliness and enthusiasm. A highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty is further strengthened through intensive training programme to enhance their teaching skills

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Annual day

The Management has always placed great emphasis on the Annual Day of the School to be a class affair, performed professionally and executed flawlessly. Sessions are held both in the morning and the evening and are witnessed enthusiastically by a really large gathering of parents, guardians, patrons and well-wishers. The events displayed bring out the best in aesthetics in the children meticulously prepared by the caring teachers. Our Annual Day figures high on the agenda of events which could carry the tag “not to be missed”

Rhyme time

Every year Rhyme Time is the cynosure of all eyes. The cry-babies at the time of joining, all over the globe, present a helpless picture. The entire world seems to crumble before them. But such is the resilience of these kids that they undergo a complete turnover within weeks and each one of them displays a confidence which is the envy of many older individuals. These angels are quick learners and have a terrific stage presence which every year draws high praise and accolades from the viewing public. Indeed, Rhyme Time in our Institution is a memorable and never to be forgotten experience.

SPORTS AND GAMES

Another gala annual event of our school is the much-awaited Sports Day. Divided into four categories namely Seniors, Intermediates, Juniors and Sub-Juniors, this event is universally popular and has a very large participation. Armed with a large bunch of qualified, dedicated and sincere physical education teachers, their wards eagerly look forward to the Sports Day to showcase their talent. There are a variety of track and field events on a modern synthetic track which helps bring out the best from every participant. The progress of these budding champions on a year to year basis is very heartening because a large number of records are set-up and eclipsed every year. The winners are handsomely rewarded. Similarly, competitions in team sports like football, cricket, basketball and volleyball as well as indoor games are also held on an inter house basis.

graduation day

Most of our students join the nursery classes and depart only after completing their X Std. Board Examination. This departure is showcased in a wonderfully poignant manner. It is a moment of both joy at seeing the children promising to grow into responsible individuals, as also facing the emotion of an impending dissociation. The entire spectrum of the Graduation Day is held in a most befitting and solemn way. GRADUATION DAY IS SYNONYMOUS WITH RESPONSIBILITY.

music academy

We have a brilliant choir in each of the three Institutions. All the necessary musical accompaniments-both Western and Indian are extensively made use of by the children under the watchful eyes of qualified and experienced music teachers. With the cream of the choir we had begun our Music Academy which now bustles with all round activity and permits the students to make a real foray into the endless possibilities of music.

GROOMING TOMORROW’S LEADER

Our school has the privilege of having 9 KarBn NCC, where cadets are imparted with physical training, discipline, psychological preparedness, mental endurance and tenacity. With the watch words “unity and discipline” NCC is the prestigious youth organization of India readying the future generation of loyal citizens and able leaders of our motherland. Few cadets from our school have made us proud by representing our school at Republic Day at New Delhi.

VENKATAMMA PRATHIBHA PURASKARA

Fulfillment of a Coveted Journey

This award was instituted a few years back to felicitate the toppers appearing in Board Examinations every year. It has seen the light of day as a day of commemoration of the revered memory of the mother of Founder Chairman of our Institution. Although the lady was essentially a housewife, she displayed foresight of a high order stressing the paramount importance of education in every individual’s life.
